2012 bookroll

I've seen several other bloggers list what they read or watched each year and I thought it might be a nice exercise. So I kept track of it on my iPhone all year long (technically I transferred the list from my iPod Touch when I got my iPhone, but who cares) and am ready to share the list.
In reviewing the list I realize I read a lot of fiction this year. I really devoured it. I enjoyed it too. I'll go through that first.
2001: A Space Odyssey - Arthur C. Clarke
2010: Odyssey Two - Arthur C. Clarke
Along Came A Spider - James Patterson
The Hunger Games Trilogy - Suzanne Collins
A is for Alibi - Sue Grafton
The Dragon's Tooth - N.D. Wilson
The Red Tent - Anita Diamant
The Eagle of the Ninth - Rosemary Sutcliffe
A Study in Scarlet - Arthur Conan Doyle
Eaters of the Dead - Michael Crichton
A Game of Thrones / A Clash of Kings / A Storm of Swords / A Feast for Crows - George R. R. Martin
Thaw- Bryan Dunn
Under the Dome - Stephen King
On the Beach - Nevil Shute

In the Non-fiction category we have:
After America - Mark Steyn
Daily Life in Biblical Times - Oded Borowski
Rubicon - Tom Holland
Civilization - Niall Ferguson
The Literature of the Bible (partial) Leland Ryken
How the Irish Saved Civilization - Thomas Cahill

I'd love to annotate each one, but I frankly don't have that kind of time.
